A fantastic debut year for King saw him become leading run scorer for season 07/08 and also obtain the second highest individual score to date for Mainstream with 85. A clean hitter of the ball, even with his D Vettori glasses, King is a perfect batsman to have coming in at 4/5/6 in the order. Julius would be a fairly handy bowler but cannot stop himself from bowling bouncers. On one such Wednesday night training, Big Si, tired of hooking King for 6’s decided to take a full bloodied ball to the head and wore the results gor a good week (see picture on his profile page)
