The Bet: This must surely go down as the dumbest bet of the year. After just half a pint of Lion Red , Package came out with the ludicrous statement that Smitty would be bowled in 50% of his innings. This bet was taken by Smitty in the blinking of an eye....in under 60 seconds, Package then thought about what he had said. He actually was supposed to say, 50% of all innings Smitty would be caught. This is a lesson to all youngsters...do not drink and bet.
